1. Sovereign Credit Rating

Overview

Sovereign ratings assess a government’s debt repayment ability from four aspects: debt repayment environment, wealth creation ability, sources of debt repayment, and debt repayment ability. Dagong’s sovereign ratings comprehensively and systematically reflect sovereign credit risks and internal transmission mechanism of a country (or a region). They monitor and predict political, financial, economic, fiscal and foreign exchange risks, offering historical data of a country (or a region) and predictive data two years from now. Dagong’s sovereign ratings have included 100 major countries (regions), 41 of which are “Belt and Road” countries.

Application

It gives investors comprehensive and systematic information, and warnings on special credit risks of a government to optimize their global assets and minimize risks of investments on governmental projects.
 

2. Local Government Credit Rating

Overview

It is an overall debt repayment ability assessment on local governments in the world. From four aspects: debt repayment environment, wealth creation ability, sources of debts repayment and debt repayment ability, it reveals internal conduction mechanism of local government credit risks, repayment ability in terms of overall debts, accumulated debts and new debts. Dagong’s local government ratings are differentiated from sovereign ratings, making comparison among the local governments across the world possible. Dagong has rated general and special debts of many provinces, as well as local government credit of many countries.

Application

This product is useful to local government debt issue, and offers comparable local government rating information to investors as well as reference for investing projects of local governments and projects warranted by them.
 

3. Enterprise Credit Rating

Overview

Enterprise credit rating is an overall evaluation on debt repayment ability of listed enterprises. It focuses on world active enterprises and delves into their credit risks, which is materialized in the form of credit rating reports.

Application

It reveals credit risks of rated enterprises and the rating results are useful portfolio references to investors.
